Services

My training programmes deliver clients real, transformative results: whether that be to lose weight, regain fitness after pregnancy, gain strength and tone, feel more confident or achieve a marathon Personal Best.

It can hard to stay motivated when there are so many reasons not to exercise – work, the weather, kids, being tired, no clean socks – but I will make fitness part of your week and something you look forward to.

Through my guidance, fitness will become an important part of your life.

Circ ~ HiiT

9-9:45am WEDNESDAYS, ACTON PARK

Circ ~ HiiT is my weekly group training class for up to 8 people - varied, fun and suitable to all abilities and fitness levels.

Sessions combine circuit training with HiiT (High Intensity Interval Training) which offers the best bang for your buck when it comes to fitness: its time-efficient, helps burn calories and boosts metabolism.

The focus is on cardio – circuits, ladder drills, shuttle runs, boxercise – before a strength-focused legs, bums, arms and tums workout. Sessions are to music and I offer adaptations to exercises.

MUMS & BABIES FITNESS

10-10.45am WEDS & FRI, ACTON PARK

My Mums & Babies Fitness is a fun class for new mums with babies in tow. As a mum of four, I know all too well how hard it can be to find time for yourself, and that your fitness and confidence can dip after having a baby. I will help you regain strength, muscle tone and improve your posture, through a combination of gentle cardio exercises and mat-based post-natal-specific strengthening exercises.

Sessions are in the park, to music. I provide weights, bands and other equipment. When the weather is bad, we use the café at Putt in the Park.

1-TO-1 PERSONAL TRAINING

My bespoke, 1-to-1 training sessions are carefully tailored to an individual’s abilities and personal goals.

Clients learn the correct form and technique for exercises and together we work hard to reach goals, tracking progress as we go.

Before setting a progressive training programme, I give clients a free, detailed consultation. We talk through exercise history and health, likes, dislikes, and nail down both short- and long-term goals. I also conduct a dynamic movement assessment to pick out any specific areas for development.

RUNNING COACH/ RACE PREPARATION

Entering and committing to a race, whether a seasoned runner or a first timer, can feel daunting and lonely. I am here to help: coaching you, motivating you and keeping you on track throughout your training. Leveraging my marathon running expertise (I’m currently ranked 6th in the world in my age category), my Race Preparation Programme will help you achieve your personal best at your chosen distance, be it Park Run or a marathon.

I create a 6-, 12- or 18-week training programme, taking into account your current fitness level, availability for training and personal goals, to ensure you reach peak performance on race day.

Sessions are held either in person or remotely, with weekly feedback a crucial element of the programme.

Testimonials

“Alice has done the impossible – which is to show me that I can fall in love with exercise. After her classes, I always feel stronger, uplifted and ready to take on my day. She’s also shown me how to use the right movements to get the most out of my body and build core strength. If you want to transform your relationship with getting fit in a brilliantly supportive, informative, fun and safe space, I cannot recommend her more.”

Bex S

“Working 1-to-1 with Alice is a constant treat. She strikes the perfect balance of pushing you while respecting that some days you work out better than others. In just a few months I have lost inches and regained core strength and flexibility, both of which had suffered since my son was born. Somehow Alice has me looking forward to our work out every week – I cannot recommend her enough!”

Zara M

“I’ve been working with Alice for 9 months. My aims were to lose baby weight and to increase my fitness. I always look forward to our sessions and they make me feel so energised! Our chats have spurred me on to make healthier food choices, which is a bonus! And I really enjoy our boxing sessions! Alice is amazing, so encouraging and I would totally recommend her.”

Nicola F

“Alice is fun, positive and knowledgeable! I train with a small group of friends and Alice tailors the workouts to our needs and goals. Although we moan about the burn, we all LOVE it and come out of every class smiling!”

Emily M

“I’ve been training with Alice for the past year - she is skilled at making exercise fun and easy. Not only will she motivate you to get fitter and stronger but she’ll lift your spirits too.”

Gabby B

“I’m a keen runner but was struggling to motivate myself. I asked Alice to help me get back to fitness and up to speed. After a few weeks I was fitter than I’ve ever been and beat by previous half-marathon PB by over 5 minutes!”

Dan W

“Alice got me out of my fitness funk and helped regain my enthusiasm for exercise. She gently pushed me out of my comfort zone. It was great to have a PT who is also a mum and understands the pressures of parenthood.”

My favourite run (Image: Ed Sunderland)

I love helping people to get fit, gain strength and feel amazing!

As well as being a qualified Level 3 Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer I am a mother of four boys, so I know how challenging it can be to find time to exercise with a full-time job and family commitments. That’s why I believe fitness has to be fun – so that you want to stick with it and make time for it.

My own path into fitness was through running. I had a natural talent that was picked up by my school sports teacher. Through her nurturing guidance and interest in my development, I went on to compete for Great Britain on the athletics track, road and over cross-country. I’ve competed in 12 marathons to date and was second female in the Florence Marathon with a time of 2:35:23. I’m currently ranked 6th in the World in my age group for the marathon and have been invited to compete in the Abbott World Marathon Majors in Sydney in September 2024!

Running has not only brought me physical fitness, but has been hugely important for my mental health too – those endorphins work wonders!
I believe that exercise and fitness create balance in your life and can help you cope in hard times.
